Profile of the performer Stanislav Vdovin: Stanislav Vdovin is a musician and sound designer based in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. For a decade career he's had releases on multiple labels in Russia and abroad (Infraction, Lagunamuch Records, Thinner, Monotonik, etc) basically under the names Unit 21 and Sleepy Town Manufacture & Unit 21 — in collaboration with Alexander Ananyev. Stanislav Vdovin’s trademark for a couple of years was microsampling of soviet vinyl records, now expanded with sounding of acoustic instruments and synthesizers. In January, 2010 Vdovin established the label [l=Occasion (2)], oriented to release organic forms of contemporary music.
