Mollusk
Malcolm Bly AKA M. Bentley
Profile of the performer Mollusk: Mollusk is one of the pseudonyms used by M. Bentley (founder of The Foundry). Malcolm Bly/Mollusk was invented as an outlet for experimenting with MP3 releases available online at www.mollusk.net. By varying compression rates and using other digital manipulations Bentley/Bly developed the "Mollusk sound," eventually leading to the release Accretions on The Foundry. The last Mollusk track was released on Lost and Found, a Foundry compilation released in 2002.
